The New South Wales Barristers’ Clerks Association (NSWBCA) invites you to attend the 2023 Biennial Clerks' Conference.  

The conference was last held in 2019 with 77 delegates attending the conference and over 100 attendees at the dinner.

The NSWBCA are delighted to have the Chief Justice of NSW as the Guest of Honour and appreciate his Honour’s support in agreeing to open our conference. The conference opening event will be held on Thursday, 19 October 2023 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

The conference will be held at the Watsons Bay Hotel Conference Centre, The Sunset Room, Level 3, 1 Military Road, Watsons Bay NSW from 8:45am to 4:45pm on Friday, 20 October 2023.  Registration commences at 8:00am.

This will be a great networking opportunity for Clerks, Assistant Clerks and Practice Managers and will be followed by a casual drinks and dinner function.

The conference will comprise of keynote presentations and workshops focusing on professional development and the development of Chambers. The conference has a professional MC, comedian and keynote speaker, Adam Spencer.

The NSWBCA promotes the role of the Clerk and Practice Managers and assists in the advancement and understanding of a Clerks’ duties in the profession.
